Most of the products we buy are either made of plastic or come encased in plastic for protection or transport. Add to the fact that most of us use plastic bags from our local stores, plastic pop bottles, or in some cases plastic furniture and you can see how plastic is everywhere. Unfortunately however plastic is not very recyclable and while certain things like pop bottles and bags can be reprocessed furniture cannot.

Certain plastics also contain harmful components that when exposed to in low quantities do not cause a problem but over time can cause health issues. One thing to remember is that plastics from all categories are not biodegradable and take centuries to break down. This means that the less plastic you use in your home the better off the environment will be both in the short and long terms. But how do you go about reducing your plastic consumption?

First you can recycle what plastics that you can. Bags and bottles are the most common form of plastic waste but also the easiest to recycle. Many recycling centers will take them and some major grocery stores have collection bins. If recycling isn’t an option then you need to limit your use as much as possible. Many stores offer fabric bags as an alternative to paper or plastic. These are a bit more expensive but they can be reused repeatedly.

Some of them can even be washed if they become stained making them a very long term investment. You can reduce your use of pop bottles via one of two methods. Either buy a larger bottle instead of multiple smaller ones, or buy canned pop. Cans are made out of aluminum which is one of the easier metals to recycle making them a viable alternative.

As for products however reducing your plastic use can be a bit difficult. Consumers have no control over what a company chooses to wrap their product in but for certain items you can find alternatives. Not all products come wrapped in plastic and some may come in a good old fashioned cardboard box, which can be recycled or reused after you’re through unpacking. That is provided you don’t have to destroy the box just to get to the product.

Plastic use in the home is not just limited to products however. There are many components of our home and appliances that are made out of plastic. It can be hard or impossible to do without these and there are few alternatives. However if you have the money to invest there are a few ways to reduce your plastic usage in this category as well.

You can buy utensils and kitchen appliances that are made out of metal instead of plastic. Alternatively you can use wooden cooking bowels or wooden silverware. Believe it or not you can still find high quality wooden silverware that is often hand carved. It’s bit expensive but 100% natural and non toxic.

Reducing your plastic use is no easy task. Many of the products, utensils, and appliances in our homes are either made from or encased in plastic. But cutting corners here and recycling what you can there does make a difference in the long run. Just remember that there are always alternative products and packaging methods to look for, they just might take a little while to find.

Dehydrating removes 70% of the moisture, food is good for less than a year

Freeze Dried Foods – What Are the Options? MRE’s, Freeze Dried Food and Why it is a Great Choice by Andrew Hagley

 

Freeze drying is a recently developed method of preserving food stuffs. It involves the freezing of the food, then removing most of the foods moisture within a vacuum, and lastly sealing the food in air-tight storage. Freeze dried foods can be transported at normal temperatures, stored for very long periods of time, and be eaten with minimum preparation. Once prepared to eat, freeze-dried foods look and taste the same as the original, natural products.

Freeze-dried food was developed during World War II as a method of preserving blood for battlefield injuries, without needing refrigeration or damaging the organic nature of the plasma. The technology was later applied to food products after the end of the war. Coffee was one of the first freeze-dried products to be produced on a large scale. Many fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, and foods are freeze-dried.

Freeze-dried food has many advantages. Because as much as 98% of the water content has been removed, the food is extremely lightweight, which reduces the cost of shipping. This also makes it popular with anyone that has to carry their food with them. Because it requires no refrigeration, shipping and storage costs are minimal. Freeze-dried food is also relatively clean, as the dehydration process makes it virtually impossible for yeast and harmful bacteria to survive the process. Finally, since the physical structure of the food is not altered during the freeze-dried process, the food retains much of its color and flavor when it is prepared by adding water. This makes it far more attractive to people, than food preserved by other methods.

One of the major disadvantages of freeze-dried food is its cost. The equipment required for this process is expensive, and the process itself is time consuming and labor intensive. These costs are usually passed on to the consumer, which makes freeze-dried food very expensive when compared to other methods of food preservation such as canning or freezing.

Raw Materials

Some foods are extremely well-suited to the freeze-drying process. Liquids, thin portions of meat, and small fruits and vegetables can be freeze dried easily. Coffee is the most common freeze-dried liquid. Chunks or slices of shrimp, crab, lobster, beef, and chicken can be freeze-dried. They are often mixed with vegetables as part of soups or main course entrees. Almost all fruits and vegetables can be freeze-dried, including beans, corn, peas, tomatoes, berries, lemons, oranges, and pineapples. Even items like olives and water chestnuts can be processed this way.

Thick portions of meat and larger, whole vegetables and fruits cannot be freeze dried with any success. With many other foods, it is simply not economical to preserve them by freeze drying.

The Manufacturing Process

A freeze-drying processing facility is usually a large plant with modern equipment. Its food-handling areas must be approved by the United States Department of Agriculture, and the company and its employees must adhere to government regulatory procedures. The plant may include a receiving and storage area for raw foods that arrive at the plant in bulk; a food cooking area for those foods that must be cooked before processing; a large area with several large freezing and drying chambers; and a packaging area. The facility may also include a research area where improved methods of freeze-drying foods are developed, and a test kitchen where new preparation techniques to improve the final taste, quality, and texture of the food are tried. Some plants are dedicated to freeze-drying only one product like freeze-dried coffee. Others process a wide range of meats, vegetables, and fruits. Nonfood products such as chemicals and pharmaceuticals are usually processed in separate plants from food products.

The freeze-drying process varies in the details of temperatures, times, pressures, and intermediate steps from one food to another. The following is a generalized description of the process with several specific exceptions noted.

Testing and preparation

The food is first checked for contamination and purity. Fruits, meats, and some other edibles are tested for bacterial counts and spoilage. Much of the work of the plant is dependent on the harvest season for each food. In January, for example, the plant would be processing celery, olives, lemons, oranges, and pineapples. In July, it would process green beans, peas, and strawberries, among others.

Some kinds of food, like seafood and meats, must be cooked before freeze drying. They are usually purchased already cut into small pieces. If they have not been pre-cooked and frozen, these foods are placed in large, industrial-sized kettles and properly cooked. Fruits and vegetables are usually purchased already cut, pitted, and peeled. These foods are simply washed with sprays of water. Some vegetables, like peas and corn, are quickly scalded, or blanched, before freezing. Coffee is purchased as a pre-brewed concentrated liquid. Because the aroma of coffee is important to consumers, a small amount of coffee bean oil may be added to the liquid. Unlike the water, the oil is not removed during the drying process.

Freezing

The food pieces are spread out on flat, metal trays which are stacked 20 to 30 high in slots in a wheeled cart. With food that has been pre-cooked and frozen, the trays are pre-chilled to prevent partial thawing during handling. With liquids like coffee, the pre-brewed coffee is poured into shallow pans. The carts are wheeled into a large, walk-in coldroom where the temperature can be as low as -40F (-40C). In this extremely cold temperature, the food is quickly frozen. There are usually a dozen or more coldrooms in operation, and the carts are kept there until it is time to move them into the drying chamber.

Drying

The carts are wheeled out of the coldroom and into a vacuum drying chamber. In the case of liquids like coffee, the frozen coffee is first ground up into small particles in a low-temperature grinder. The drying chamber is a large, long, horizontal cylinder with semi-elliptical ends. One end is hinged to open and close. When the trays of frozen food pieces are inside, the chamber is closed and sealed. In a large plant, there may be 20 to 30 drying chambers in operation at any time.

The drying procedure involves a process known as sublimation. In sublimation, a solid material is forced to change state into a gaseous material without ever becoming a liquid. In the case of freezedried food, the solid ice crystals trapped in the frozen food pieces are forced to change into water vapor without ever becoming liquid water. In the drying chamber, this is accomplished by evacuating the air with a vacuum pump to reduce the pressure to about 0.036 psi (0.0025 bar). The temperature of the food is raised to about 100 degrees by direct conduction through the bottom of the trays, radiation from heat lamps, or microwave heating. When the chamber is evacuated of air, the pressure is below the threshold at which water can simultaneously exist in a solid, liquid, and gaseous (vapor) state. This threshold is known as the triple point of water. Once the pressure falls below this point, the heat causes the ice crystals trapped in the frozen pieces of food to change directly to water vapor. The vapor is drawn off and condensed within the chamber leaving the food behind. The dried food is filled with tiny voids, like a sponge, where the ice crystals were once present. Not only does this make it easier for the food to reabsorb water when it is prepared for consumption, but the dried food retains its original size and shape. The time for this drying process varies. Freeze-dried liquids make take only about four hours to prepare, while semi-solids and solids like soup and sliced meats may take 12 hours or more.

Sizing and blending

The dried food pieces are removed from the drying chamber and tested for moisture content and purity.

Some food pieces may be ground to a smaller size or may be reduced to a powder. Others may be screened to separate them by size. Two or more different products may also be blended together to meet a customers specific specifications.

Packaging

Freeze-dried foods must be sealed in airtight containers to prevent them from absorbing moisture from the air. Several types of containers may be used: plastic laminated foil pouches, metal and plastic cans, or metal and fiber drums for bulk packaging. Some freeze-dried food is vacuum packed, in which the air is evacuated from the container before sealing. Other food has an inert gas like nitrogen injected into the container before sealing to displace the oxygen in the air and prevent oxidation or spoiling of the food. The packaging is done in the freeze-dry plant almost as soon as the foods come out of the drying chamber. The plant can form, fill, and seal the packages to the desired weight for the end user. Packages that are to be sold directly to the consumer are packed in cartons, stacked on pallets, and transported to the grocery warehouse. Other freeze-dried food is packaged in bulk and sold to a secondary processor for incorporation into other food products. Freeze-dried blueberries, for example, may be sent to a company that makes pancake and muffin mixes.

Quality Control

Each food has different processing, storage, and rehydration requirements. Some of the variables include the sizing of the raw food products before freezing, the cooking or blanching time and temperature, the rate of freezing and final freezing temperature, the rate of application of vacuum and the final vacuum pressure during drying, the rate and method of application of heat and the final dried product temperature, the allowable residual moisture content after drying, the storage temperature and atmosphere (vacuum, nitrogen, etc) after drying, and the rehydration procedures. At large freeze-drying facilities, electronic microprocessors regulate the times, temperatures, and pressures throughout each step of the process. A central computer collects this data, analyzes it using statistical quality control methods, and stores it for later reference. This assures that the food sent out to the public for consumption has been through a strictly controlled process that meets government guidelines and varies only slightly from batch to batch. The computer also collects data on the bacterial and moisture levels of the raw, bulk food products coming into the plant as well as the final freeze dried products. Special equipment may include computerized gas chromatographs and oxygen analyzers. Even the packaging materials are tested for their ability to prevent water vapor and oxygen transmission.

The Future

Food is not the only material that is freeze-dried. Pharmaceutical products such as antibiotics and vaccines are often preserved this way. Specialty chemicals, pigments, and ceramics powders are also produced using freeze-drying. Currently, there is development work on freeze-drying various aerosol sprays. One of the most interesting applications is freeze-drying flowers to produce bouquets that can be stored for many months before being reactivated to make fresh flowers. This would be especially beneficial for those who want flowers that bloom only during a short season.

Teen Weight Gain is agony!

“I rarely talk about personal stuff but since you all have stuck with me for a few years now, I feel comfortable to share.

Teen weight gain is agony – and if you’re a ballet dancer, cheerleader – or “any” girl – it is horrible. And this is way before social media or every day bullying at school.

I wrote a slightly clinical post about hormone imbalance on my other toe shoes blog today. But this is my own story.

When I was young I was so skinny my mother called me “the skull”. But for ballet that’s good right? I ate anything that I wanted to and was thin.

When I went to the summer ballet course in Hockley Valley, Ontario Canada, the ballet teachers were all from the National Ballet of Canada and the National Ballet School teacher course. I was in good hands.

We had 3-4 ballet classes a day and we gobbled up our boxed lunches – 2 sandwiches, some raw vegetable snack and a cupcake.

Our ballet teachers were horrified. They picked the sandwich contents out of the bread with a fork and threw away everything else.

And that summer I auditioned for the National Ballet School of Canada and was accepted. All was well for about a year and a half.

Then the teen weight gain began. Nightmare! I was eating what I had always eaten. There were a few other girls who gained weight too. We were lepers, let me assure you.

What I didn’t know was hormone imbalance was involved. Nowadays a parent and a family doctor would suspect. But not then.

If a girl has heavy and had painful periods, that’s a sign. Weight gain (while exercising and eating well) is a sign.

Worry, anxiety, fatigue and social withdrawal are all signs of hormonal imbalance.

No one realized we needed a hormone balance test.”

When I say chemical weight loss I don’t mean pills or drinks, but the many diet systems offering fast weight loss by means of chemically flavored and colored processed, frozen foods.

 

As opposed to real fresh food that will nurture your body. That will not disrupt your hormone balance and make it even harder to lose weight.

 

Or cause cravings for carbohydrates because they are artificially sweetened, and you never get away from sweet tastes.

You can cook a bunch at once and chop up into a large salad – easy to take some in a tub to work for lunch. Add some walnut pieces for a crunch.

 

Use a home-made salad dressing made with an oil you really need, such as flax seed oil or olive oil.

What exercises help improve balance?

What are the best exercises for balance – for seniors to learn and be able to do anywhere, including at home?

 

Doctors recommend balance exercises for seniors to prevent falls especially, and for general health.

 

If you have medical conditions (whether you’re a senior or not) consult with your healthcare practitioner about the level of exertion you can practice safely.

 

A one legged stand:

 

This exercise is simple. Advice includes to hold onto a chair back, or some piece of furniture, and with the BodyBoss gym kit (more about that below), you can use the exercise bar as a staff.

 

It involves lifting one leg up behind you, bending your knee, and keeping your knees together. Then, simply stand on that leg for about 30 seconds.

 

Repeat about a dozen times, and then switch legs. Repeat all.

 

This is one of the best exercises for balance and stability for seniors  – and anyone!

 

Let go of your balance tool intermittently, if you can.

 

This practice engages your big muscle groups – the hips, thighs, and core (abdominal and low back) muscles.

 

It also trains your brain (anew) to respond to the tiny balance shifts that your muscles control, establishing patterns.

 

This is called neuroplasticity.

Weight Shifting:

 

This is similar to the exercise described above. You can use a balance tool if needed.

 

It is done by shifting the weight from two legs to one, lifting a leg up a few inches, and holding the position.

 

Keep it up for about 30 seconds, repeat about a dozen times, then switch legs.

 

Walking heel to toe:

 

You have probably done this many times. This is how most people measure an approximate number of feet across a floor, if they don’t have a measuring tape handy.

 

You walk placing one foot exactly in front of the other, placing your heel close up to your toes of your back foot.

 

This exerts your big balancing muscle groups more than ordinary walking. It requires more a of a weight shift.

 

Take about 20-30 steps, use whatever space you have.

 

Use your BodyBoss exercise bar, a cane or broom handle if you need help, initially.

 

This one of the excellent exercises for balance in elderly people, and will move you along to more strenuous routines.

 

Leg raises, to the back:

 

These are done holding your chair back or other balance tool.

 

Raise one leg behind you, keeping your posture held in a straight natural position.

 

Hold about 12-15 seconds. Repeat about 12 times.

 

Switch legs and repeat all.

 

Side leg raises are done the same, raising your leg to the side.

What causes poor balance in seniors?

Some balance disorders, once diagnosed, are treated with physical exercises. They would be prescribed and taught by a physical therapist.

Balance boards are probably the best exercise to improve balance. They are often used by those who participate in board sports, like skiing, surfing, and skate boarding.

Essentially, standing on a balance board simulates the activity of these sports. Usually the board looks like a small surf board with an attached heavy duty ball on the bottom.

The goal is to stand atop the board and maintain your balance. The trick is to keep your upper body still while relying on your core and leg muscles to do the work.

One Legged Alternating Stands

This is an effective exercise you can do at home. Try it while looking in a mirror. Just stand alternatively on one leg and then the other. In fitness classes, instructors will sometimes direct you to pick up and set down a small hand weight while balancing on one leg, which challenges your balance even more.

Try it for 30 seconds at a time on each leg, and steadily increase the time as your balance improves.

Fitball Balance Discs

This is another excellent piece of fitness equipment. Similar to a balance board conceptually, the goal is to remain atop the disc while maintaining your balance.

The fitball balance disc is flat on the bottom and spherical on top. You can use it either standing or while laying across the top, which is similar to a pilates move. In addition to helping your balance, using a fitball balance disc does a great job strengthening and toning your mid section.

Summary

You don’t have to lose your physical balance skills as you age. The best way to combat loss of balance is to participate in specific exercises to improve your skill level.

Group fitness classes like yoga and pilates are ideal, as they emphasize core muscles and flexibility. Specific fitness equipment like balance boards and fitball balance discs simulate board sports and provide a challenging test of your ability to stay on top without stepping off.

Finally, simple alternating one legged stands are a low tech but effective way to work on this crucial life skill.

It is an established fact that exercise increases bone density. It is also a well known that a large number of people undergo age related decline in bone mass, and this is the leading cause of frailty and fracture in older adults. Women, in particular, are susceptible to osteoporosis following menopause. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that individuals do not lose their ability to move about in later years due to the loss of bone density.

Calcium and bone density:

It is true that many women take calcium supplements to ward off osteoporosis. However, taking in calcium supplements alone is not enough to maintain bone density. Magnesium and other micronutrients are also required to assimilate calcium. In addition, strength training is necessary to retain assimilated calcium.

Various studies have collected evidence of strength training increasing bone mass and maintaining the density of bones. For example, one study in Ontario’s Manchester University showed that postmenopausal women who underwent strength training for a year increased the bone mass in their spine by approximately nine percent when compared to women who did not participate in weight training and therefore experienced a fall in bone density.

Experts agree that exercise – strength training exercise in particular – is the key to preserving bone density and maintaining bone mass. Strength training exercise increases bone density, improves balance and develops muscle strength, and all of these factors help older adults improve their quality of life drastically.

Types of exercise

Not all exercises are created equal. Even among strength training exercises, certain kinds of exercises affect the density of bones and improve bone health more than others.

According to a research conducted by the Bone & Joint Injury Prevention & Rehabilitation Center, three characteristics in strength training exercise make it most suitable for building bone density. These are:

  • The magnitude of strain in the exercise: Greater magnitude is found in exercises like weightlifting and gymnastics because of the greater force involved.
  • The rate of strain in the exercise: This is where the rate of the impact felt is higher, as in plyometrics (exercises centered on fast, powerful movements) and jumping.
  • Frequency of strain in the exercise: This is higher in exercises such as running, going up and down stars and weightlifting where the bones are impacted more frequently during the exercise.

All the three factors above play important roles in developing and maintaining the density of bones. However, which of these three factors is the most important was not determined by the study, although it was mentioned that people may experience an increase in bone density just by performing weight bearing exercises for 12-20 minutes, three times a week.

Exercises that place strain on the bones like weight lifting and strength training are the best exercises to build bone density. Other excellent exercises for building bone density include stair climbing, running and so on.

Impact of age on bone density

According to studies, exercise can increase bone density regardless of age. It has been seen that weight bearing exercises stimulate the formation of bone cells by retaining calcium. This is most important for postmenopausal women who start losing bone mass due to depleting estrogen levels.

Can exercise lower the density of bones?

A study found that elite level cyclists actually had lower bone density, leading researchers to believe that activities such as cycling and swimming could lead to loss of bone mass. The reason for this could be due to these factors:

  • These exercises are non-weight bearing and do not put any strain on the bones
  • The body loses enormous amounts of vital nutrients due to copious sweating
  • The calorie deficit following hours of intense exercise could lead to loss of bone mass

Therefore, it is not a good idea to concentrate too much on one form of exercise or do it in excess.

Exercise alone cannot ensure maintenance and development of bone mass, but must be combined with excellent nutrition. This becomes more important when people over the age of 30 years since the body does not build bone cells as well as it did before. Therefore, building strong bones before this age is ideal, but the right diet and exercise can help at any age.

Two: Get Better Sleep

 

It’s been believed throughout most of my lifetime ( a few decades) that seniors need less sleep.

 

This has proven to be untrue, with all the studies that have been done on sleep, for all age groups.

 

Older people need eight to nine hours of quality sleep every night. One study showed that less than seven hours of sleep leaves a person cognitively impaired.

 

Medications, poor nutrition,  and bad habits can prevent good sleep. There are natural (drug free) ways to prepare yourself for a good night’s sleep, like these:

  • CBD Oil works for many, a dropper full at bedtime (depending on the strength you buy)
  • Herbal teas such as chamomille can help
  • Reducing caffeine over the day, especially later than noon
  • Reducing sugar intake, it is inflammatory and irritating
  • Get enough of the right kind of exercise even if you can’t get out to a gym
  • Eat locally produced fresh foods as much as you can

 

Three: Are Falls A Normal Part Of Aging?

Not at all! Falling involves:

  • Unsafe homes (stairs, handrails missing, slippery area rugs, slippery tiles, clutter)
  • Loss of hip muscle strength – to balance you while you move and work
  • Loss of leg muscle strength
  • Loss of arm muscle strength (to grab something to prevent a fall)
  • Loss of foot muscle and ankle muscle strength – to regain balance quickly
  • Loss of reflexive responses

 

Four: Keep Your Brain Health!

If you’re not retired this may not be so much of  a factor, unless your job is boring and there are no challenges.

Our brain needs challenges, especially if you no longer have to work. Keep up activities that you love, especially social affairs, sports, and regular exercise.

Choose harder crossword puzzles, if you do those.

Learn a new language.

Teach an extension course in the field of your expertise.

Five: How To Strengthen Hip Muscles – And Why

Of the exercises listed above by BodyBoss, the following will strengthen hip muscles, and help prevent falls.

Squats

Have you ever been awed by the strength and balance of ballet dancers? Or figure skaters, modern dancers and gymnasts?

Ballet dancers don’t do squats, they do plies (plee-ays) which are deep knee bends keeping the spine upright.

The use of the hip and low back/core muscles is the same.

Trainers and doctors will always agree that seniors should do exercise every day, light to moderate to intense.

 

If you’re starting out to design an exercise plan for yourself, what you choose depends on your general health.

 

If you have medical conditions, and you have lost your previous strength and endurance, you can still exercise.

Start out with gentle exercises that you like. You can get a little tougher as you get stronger.

 

If you can tolerate general house work,  (not moving furniture or cleaning out the attic – but every day items) with the most strenuous being vacuuming, that would be considered light activity.

 

Moderate activity would be like walking briskly, so that you can converse with someone, but perhaps not be able to sing while keeping up your pace.

 

Water aerobics, playing tennis (doubles) hiking, and cycling are moderate activities that increase your heart rate, moderately.

 

Intense activity would be hiking or bicycling uphill, jogging/running, tennis singles, fast swimming and martial arts.

The following is part of an article I wrote years ago – because exercise is one of my favorite topics – and I want to share it here because it explains how you can gradually increase your workout intensity, safely.

 

The right exercise will:

  • increase your heart strength
  • increase your lung capacity
  • increase your muscle mass
  • increase your stamina, no matter how unfit you are
  • allow you to choose the exercise you like best
  • allow you to start at walking one minute at a time, if that is what you need
  • allow you to use your favorite exercise machine – a treadmill, a rowing machine, whatever you have

An example of how you might start this type of exercise pacing:

 

Warm up, always, with walking, pumping the arms a little, and breathing easily and deeply.

 

Three to five minutes.

 

The following exercise is done with a jump rope. If you want to try it out, you can get one at the Dollar store, before you invest further. So here’s how you approach a graduation of effort:

  • skip 30 skips, with the little bounce in between
  • rest for 30 seconds, breathe easily and deeply
  • skip 60 seconds, with the little bounce in between, and rest for 30 seconds
  • skip for 20 skips, no little bounce in between – you’re done!!!!!

 

If you can only do 10 or 15 skips at first, that’s O.K.

 

Do the number that you can, and rest 30 seconds.

 

Double that number, or do however many more skips you can, and rest 30 seconds.

 

Then do the quick no-bounce -in-between skips, as many as you can and approximately 2/3 of the original number you did. You’re done!!!

 

The jump rope mode of this exercise is simple, but it’s not easy to do!

 

The coolest thing about this is you start right where you are. However fast or less fast, you will progress.

 

Another cool thing is, after challenging your system this way you burn fat for 9 hours after!

 

With almost any workout, this method of pacing your exertion can be adapted. You can do the exercise you like to do, and get lots more out of it.

 

If you start with walking, you can walk for a period of time, change to brisk walking, rest with slowed walking, walk even more briskly – I’m sure you get the idea.

 

It is the same if you’re doing arm exercises with a stretchy band, or leg exercises.

Therefore, you need that “muscle recovery time” which involves a cascade of cellular responses affecting your metabolism, and the building of muscle fibers.

 

This can take two or more days.

You will settle on two or three times a week for your workout. You can choose the time of day when you have a good energy level.
